Flickr

Now that I've had some time to relax over Christmas, I have now set up a Flickr account with all the photos from the initial clearing out week at Portnahaven Primary School.

As one might imagine, there has not been much more work done in recent times, because of the bad weather here. I was hoping to out there in this time, but it's a tad touch and go; maybe in the new year at some point.

  1. I fell in love with Islay and especially with Portnahaven after my visit in November 2009 like you can see in my blog... I keep dreaming to go back soon. It is so exciting to follow your inspiring project. It keeps my hopes alive to experience something similar in some future... :)

Good luck and all the best... I am planning to visit the school when I am back just to say hi..!

  2. And I've already experienced something similar - in the past. But in a smaller scale. Still mindboggling and lifechanging. When I renovated the old Coast Guard Station overlooking the village. Today it's called Four winds. Too rarely visited though. Hope to be over this spring...
    Keep up the good work!
